Flying with rex

  • Rex flies between Adelaide and Ceduna 6 days a week (not on Saturdays)

  • Flights are often delayed or cancelled due to weather.

  • Return flights can cost between $650 and $1,200 for one person

Driving the Car

Driving to Adelaide can be cheaper than flying, but it takes at least 8 hours. Be sure to stop for a break or swap drivers every two hours, and bring lots of water and snacks for the ride.

Catching the Bus

Buses leave:

  • Ceduna on Tuesday and Friday mornings

  • Adelaide on Monday and Thursday morning.

  • You can book online HERE and pay with your debit or credit card, or you can pay in cash at the ticket station in Adelaide (Adelaide Central Bus Station, 85 Franklin St, Adelaide, South Australia). You can also pay cash directly to the bus driver in Ceduna.

    To obtain the concessions listed above, you must at thetime of booking / ticketing be the named holder of a valid concession card approved by the Department for Infrastructure and Transport. 

  • RESERVATIONS: Please book at least 48 hours in advance. Reservations are essential particularly on long weekends and school holidays. You can book online HERE

    CHECK-IN: With your luggage at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time of your coach. All luggage must be clearly labelled with your name and address.
